The first thing you need to do to choose the best red dress: Determine your undertone
Stand next to a natural source of light, and hold a piece of blank white paper underneath your hand. What tone in the most prominent? What secondary color do you notice? Remember you’re not looking at your color, but the hue that you notice despite or in addition to your coloring.

I’ll give you an example. When I do this test, my undertone is Red, and my secondary color is yellow. This means that I have a warm undertone, and that rich true reds, along with reds that have a pink or orange tone suit my skin best. Now this isn’t to say that a red with a blue undertone wouldn’t look good one me, but for the best red dress, choosing one that compliments my complexion will help me to look my best.
With this in mind I would choose a warm shade of red which would help my skin to glow.
But the color of the dress isn’t the only thing one has to think about when buying a red dress.

Can you wear a red dress when you have red hair, or is that too much?
I think you can. Just find a shade that compliments instead of clashes with your hair’s coloring. Make a statement just not an odd one. 🙂
